This sidewalk safari is led by J. Eric Lynxwiler, urban archeologist and celebrated co-author and researcher for the book Wilshire Boulevard: Grand Concourse of Los Angeles. If you've never taken a tour with Eric, you're in for a treat-and if you have, you know that his encyclopedic knowledge of L.A. and its environs is rivaled only by his wit and humor. The tour begins at the Stiles Clements-designed, black and gold terra cotta bank building at 5209 Wilshire-come join the ADSLA and explore neighborhood block by block to see what the area was, what it is and what it will be!
